Case: NATO Noble Award 2007 exercise

The German Air Force chose a catering solution from DCS Group when it's Taskforce NATO response force 9 participated in NATO’s Noble Award 2007 exercises at Aalborg Air base in May 2007. Meals were prepared for the approximately 900 troops that were on base when the exercises were at their peak.

"The Germans are extremely focused on hygiene, and that’s one of the contributing reasons why they chose us to handle all their catering during the exercises in Danmark" says Product Manager for Food & Catering of DCS Group, Finn Lauritsen. "We meet all hygiene requirements down to the last detail". One of the German conditions was a fixed kitchen rather than a mobile one. The food was transported in compliance with all hygiene requirements from the kitchen to a large mess tent at the air base.

At the same time DCS Group delivered a complete catering solution at Tirstrup Air Base in connection with NATO’s Operational Evaluation. This operation involved 450 troops.
